For my ninth birthday my parents bought my first camera, a Kodak 110mm. Super excited I photographed as much as my limited funds allowed. It wasn’t until college where a friend who photographed for the newspaper showed me how to develop and print a black and white negative that I became hooked with the process of creating images.

By good fortune I found a unique opportunity to explore my artistic side through Orange Coast College’s photography program. With insightful, passionate, and artistic mentors I gained a vast knowledge of camera techniques, understanding the science of lighting and mastering various camera mediums. These skills opened up new ways for me to express my vision and fine tune my craft.

As I continue my photographic journey it is with deep satisfaction that my primary interest is portraits. It is part of my life’s journey to capture the heart and spirit of those who are part of my life.
